It is very important to keep your hair and scalp moisturized while wearing brainds and or weave. So when you undo the weave and or braids, your hair still has the moisture that makes the shampooing and conditioning easier without tangles. But if you take out your weave and or braids and you notice that your hair in drie, make sure you finger detangle your hair very well, lotion or use an oil, pomade or a butter on your hair, keep it covered or tied over night, or keep your hair covered with a plastic cup or a conditioning cup for an hour before proceeding to shampooing and conditioning. Doing so will help you avoid getting your hair matted and super tangled.

Share your experience.
